First-year courses address critical subject areas particularly in the fields of Ancient and Modern Languages and Literatures, Linguistics and History.

The II level Master’s Degree in History of Art and Entertainment Industry History and Art Criticism is founded on a tradition of studies and research established on the overcoming of hierarchies and disciplinary divisions and on the analysis of forms of expression in a historical perspective.
The objectives of the course are:
to acquire knowledge of the methodologies of research and acquisition of the tools of research in the history of the arts (visual and performing);
to acquire a specialist level of knowledge of the history of art from the Middle Ages to the contemporary and of the historic theatre, performing arts and cinema;
to acquire an awareness of the critical historical debate, in the fields of art, film, performing arts and theatre history and the acquisition of deep critical skills;
to acquire the comprehension of the dynamics relating to the organization and management of the arts;
to acquire theoretical and applied knowledge of the problems of conservation, management, promotion and enhancement of cultural heritage.
