The digital transformation is deeply changing the organization of modern enterprises and their management structure. Modern, innovative companies need highly skilled managers who have both the technical competences to master the new digital technologies and the management skills required for decision-making positions.
The Master in Digital Technology Management provides both these competencies by using a two stages approach: during the first cycle classic management courses as well as specialized courses for managing the digital transformation are taught to all the participants, while the second cycle provides the specific technical formation for the specialization in Artificial Intelligence. The courses will cover the most recent techniques and tools, as well as their industrial applications, focusing on the new business opportunities and challenges arising from them.
This international program, with students from all over the world and a Faculty composed of professors, managers, and entrepreneurs, takes place within the unique atmosphere of a 16th-century villa on the hills surrounding Bologna. Thanks to project works, company projects and master lectures, students get in touch with the key concepts of the digital era.
The Master in Digital Technology Management/Internet of Things is a full-time program taught in English and structured in 1,500 hours of learning activities over 12 months of study, divided into 360 hours of lecturing, an estimated 540 hours of independent study, and 500 hours of internship.
Classroom participation is about 30 hours per week structured in order to allow time to work in groups, while not neglecting individual students focus and management of interpersonal relationships.
