The Master in Finance is an academic proposal of the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Universidad Austral that seeks to satisfy the demand for professionals with solid knowledge in Finance, capable of designing and implementing efficient strategies to successfully face the challenges presented by competition in markets diverse, complex and with a deep understanding of the local and global reality.Addressed toGraduates in the field of Economic Sciences and professionals from other careers interested in specializing in financial issues.Profile of the graduateGraduates will be prepared to diagnose, evaluate and solve problems acting both in the corporate sphere and in the markets of various kinds.
Through the case method, the Master of Finance provides management skills necessary to perform in senior management positions.

1. Common Basic Cycle:
This cycle will be compulsory for all students and will consist of the subjects: "Theory of Corporate Finance", "Financial Analysis of Financial Statements", "Quantitative Analysis in Finance", "Macroeconomic Analysis" and "Ethics". The subjects of the basic cycle may be taken jointly with students from other master's degrees.
2. Core material cycle:
Also compulsory, they are specifically oriented for students of the Master in Finance. This cycle is made up of the following subjects: "Operational Finance", "Evaluation of Projects of Investment "," Indebtedness, Financial Restructuring and Financial Distress "," Capital Markets: fixed and variable income "," Derivative Financial Instruments "," Valuation "and" International Finance ".
3. Cycle of specialty subjects:
A total of 3 courses must be chosen, plus the completion of a Simulation Game. The subjects are: "Legal and Tax Aspects of Financial Markets", "Mergers and Acquisitions", "Risk Management", "Portfolio Management", "Innovation in Finance", "Behavioral Finance and Neurofinances".
4. International Finance Week:
It is optional. It consists of an intensive week in New York visiting the main markets, international financial institutions and local and international monetary organizations. It includes two days of study at the IESE New York Business School campus, taking content from Banks and Real Estate. The aim is for students to have exposure and international contact with the main players in global market and corporate finance, as well as the opportunity to discuss cases in the environment of an international business school.
5. Final work
It will be developed on the basis of a case study that allows to demonstrate the integration and deepening of knowledge in the professional field, as well as the management of skills and innovative approaches in the profession.Admission process1. Complete the online registration application.
