Introduction

The WFI - Ingolstadt School of Management has been offering a Master of Science Program in Business Administration since winter-term 2005 / 2006. The students graduate in state-approved "Master of Science". Program Specialization Four majors are offered: -- FACT (Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Taxation and Business Law): This major offers the opportunity to fully concentrate on the essentials of management control. -- MARKT (market-oriented business management): In this major students deal with problems of Strategic and International Management, Marketing and Service as well Operations and Methods. -- Management Science: The students handle quantitative and information processing methods in order to analyze, plan and optimize complex issues of Business Administration. -- International Business Administration: In winter term 2009/2010 newly introduced major comprising a Double Degree (Master of Science of WFI and Diplôme de l'ESC Toulouse (M. Sc. in Management)) Program Structure The Master of Science studies comprise four semesters and requires a previous Bachelor of Science degree. After successfully completing the studies, students will be graduated as Masters of Science ("M. Sc.") in Business Administration. In the course of the Master studies 120 ECTS are to be obtained, of which 90 ECTS correspond to 18 modules (5 ECTS each) and another 30 ECTS to the Master Thesis. Each major comprises various subjects. 6 compulsory module, the choice of which depends on the respective major, build up a fundamental basis across all subjects. Ethics as a compulsory module belongs to it. Additionally, another 7 compulsory elective modules of the subjects belonging to the major are to be passed. The student is to freely choose among the modules which are offered. Above this, another 5 elective modules can be chosen out of all WFI Master courses (and other courses by request). Requirements for Application Graduation qualifying for a profession (Bachelor) with focus on Business Administration/Economics and a minimum of 180 ECTS, of which a 135 ECTS must be reached at the time of application. If your diploma is not yet available at the time of application, an official Transcript of Records of your exams including the average grade is required. On enrollment, the final diploma has to be presented.
