Master's Degree in Computer Science

Computer Science is an engineering discipline that, in a broader sense, incorporates the structure and application of IT systems as well as the systematic processing of a wide array of information. One of the main goals in the Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science is to introduce students to methods that will enable them to successfully identify and solve problems.

The Master's degree program in Computer Science has been designed as a broad, wide-ranging and in-depth study of the main areas of informatics. These include conventional methods of informatics, hardware development, software engineering as well as selected applications in computer science such as communication and collaboration systems, central data systems and grid computing.



Potential Career Opportunities


Graduates of the Master's degree program in Computer Science are in demand in all areas of the IT industry, especially project management and IT management. Jobs range from hardware and software development, telecommunications, planning and developing information systems, implementation of secure network and internet solutions, to building miniature IT systems as used and required in the electronic or automobile industry, IT consulting and training, and public service and research.
