The Master's degree in International Relations of Nebrija University aims to complement the set of university knowledge and contribute to improving the student's comprehensive education and future professional performance. Throughout the program, a panoramic view of both the institutional and business fields are offered.
The two itineraries of the Master's degree open the doors to the Direction of International Companies or to Geostrategic Analysis, which has great employability and that allow one to work as international negotiator or in embassies, consultancies or any international department of big companies or institutions.

The curriculum of the Master's degree in International Relations will allow you to deepen your understanding of the international environment, analyze the causes and challenges of the world scene to be able to transfer your knowledge to the diplomatic services of your country, or after completing your postgraduate studies, to companies or institutions with an international presence.
Europeanist approach with a global perspective
The Europeanist approach is reinforced in our program, but without losing sight of the global perspective of international relations, in order to promote the development of new ideas, theories, approaches and discussions, prioritizing the interests or needs of the geopolitical zones of the participants.

Awards
The nature of the University Master's degree means the automatic recognition of the credits taken in order to access to the Doctoral Programs of Spanish universities, as well as the recognition of the Master's degree in any country of the European Higher Education Area.

Ideal Students
The profile that is sought is that of a Graduate or Engineer. They do not need a university education in a specific area. We evaluate qualities that allow us to foresee their good integration in the group, such as ability to converse, having an open mind, willingness to share and actively participate in the development of the program, etc. The program is enriched thanks to the varied origin of its participants, because it favors the knowledge of the management of International Relations.
In order to access this Master's degree, it will be necessary to have an official Spanish university degree, or one issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area that grants access to Master's studies in the country issuing said degree.

Curriculum
Basic Competences of the Degree:
- Students must know how to apply the acquired knowledge and their ability to solve problems in new or uncertain environments in broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts within the framework of International Relations.
- Students must be able to integrate knowledge and face the complexity of making judgments based on information that, being incomplete or limited, includes reflections on social and ethical responsibilities related to the application of their knowledge and judgments.
- Students must know how to communicate their conclusions -and the ultimate knowledge and reasons that support them- to specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear and unambiguous way.
- Students must possess the learning skills that allow them to continue training in a way that will be largely self-directed or autonomous.
Generic Competences
The generic competences are as follows:
- GC1. The student must acquire updated knowledge about Political, Economic and Social Relations at an international level.
- GC2. The student must be able to systematically understand complex concepts, the relevant information, their context and how to apply it to specific situations, taking into account how it affects the different actors and agents of each situation.
- GC3. The student must master the advanced techniques that allow him to obtain and analyze information, evaluate its relevance and validity, synthesize it and adapt it to the context.
- GC4. The student must be able to understand and deal with complex situations and arguments in a systematic and creative way, with critical judgment, with incomplete information, taking risks, making decisions and communicating them to any type of audience.
- GC5. The student must be able to communicate correctly both orally and in writing, both in Spanish and in a second language, using the most current technology.
- GC6. The student must be able to act autonomously in the evaluation of socio-political events as well as anticipate possible scenarios for the development of events.
- GC7. The student must be able to play different roles within a team.
- GC8. The student must be able to recognize the need for change and must have the necessary skill to manage it.
- GC9. The student must be able to act autonomously in a framework of responsible freedom.
- GC10. The student must be able to add value to the organization through his creativity and participation.
- GC11. Ability to manage teams and diversity.
- GC12. Ability to integrate equality policies into organizations and work, especially between women and men, and with attention to disability.
- GC13. Ability to establish systems for evaluating the quality of one's own work and the team's work.

The specific competences have been determined with the same procedure as the generic ones, and in one way or another are included within them.

Ability to perform a critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new and complex ideas from different advanced theoretical approaches in the area of International Relations, integrating the knowledge acquired and considering social responsibility and respect for a strict professional ethical code.
