The Master of Architectural Design programme prepares students for an international career in architecture, creating bridges between Eastern and Western culture.
The School of Historical Studies (SHS) is a dynamic community of faculty members and graduate students, engaged in a systematic and rigorous inquiry into some of the fundamental questions that concern historical experiences within and beyond Asia. The thrust areas of the School, Asian Interconnections, Anthropology, East Asian History, Cultural History, Oral History, Economic History and History of Science - are built on the foundation of ancient Nalanda. The new Nalanda University chiefly plays a role as a conduit of India's vibrant intellectual, religious and economic linkages with the world, and the aim of the School Of Historical Studies is to open new frontiers of knowledge on Asian and non-Asian cultural, historical and philosophical contexts. Faculty members combine a rich variety of methodologies and disciplinary backgrounds to bear on their research and teaching of history including anthropology, sociology, archaeology, religious studies, philosophy, economic history, political science, philology, visual studies, and art history. Students in the School develop critical understandings of cultural-political histories, economic histories, intellectual histories, oral and visual histories, history of science, and religious histories.
The programme will focus on the issues of urban planning and management using new city models and technologies. It will be led by international and Russian scholars and experts who are forming the current agenda for smart city development in Russia and worldwide.
The master’s programme in architecture is equivalent to Part 2 of the Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) Professional Examination and is a full-time professional Master’s programme that centres on the advanced study of architecture.

The Master of Architecture (MArch) program at Dar Al-Hekma University is a two-year post-graduate program that broadens the scope of architectural studies and increases the competency of its graduates in the academic and professional fields.

The Master of Architecture program will be about the environmentally sustainable architecture that strives to minimize the negative environmental effect of building by efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy and development space. Sustainable architecture that is very much aware of consumption of energy and ecological conservation in the design of the built environment will be the underlying principles of our design intention.
Our Master in Urban Planning (MUP) is fully accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Affairs Division and is taught by a multinational and distinguished faculty. With a total of 11 courses that need to be completed for the degree, our program can be taken on a full-time or part-time basis.
The speciality of Architecture was established at the faculty of Fine Arts. The faculty of Engineering was established in the 2005-2006 academic year and the chair of Architecture have been included in its composition.
