This Master aims to help students to develop a critical understanding of contemporary planning challenges for cities and urban regions, in the context of climate change and growing human needs. The program is designed so that students may confront up to date scientific knowledge on planning with their own cultural background and planning experiences. Society is constantly changing its face. So the young professional must be able to think the logic of his project in the face of a global context, analyze the issues, redefine specifications, be creative upstream of the formal translation, on the very reflection of the subject. To prepare for the third year, students present their work to juries composed of outside professionals and teachers of the school.
The subjects studied, the research conducted by the students are suggested or proposed based on real data. They are dual-purpose exercises , both "rehearsals" or simulations of a concrete situation and didactic materials. Conferences given by prominent personalities in their field are an opportunity to grasp various visions of the current world, to hear the point of view on a job, to think in groups and then to write individually....

In an increasingly global economy, metropolitan areas are basic components of economic competition and growth. Capital, labor pools, knowledge, infrastructures, and their distribution within and across geographical space play a major role in the economic development and prosperity of a metropolitan area.
As highlighted by the Economist, a report from the American think-tank Brookings Institution shows that “the world's largest 300 metropolitan economies account for 19% of the global population and almost half the world's GDP. In the past decade, incomes and jobs tended to grow faster in these urban areas than their national averages”....

Our 5-year Curriculum as an Interior Architect – Object Designer
Both a humanist and a universalist, the Interior Architect-Object Designer works on various scales, from the smallest object to the whole city. As a craftsman and a general contractor, he or she restores as much as he or she designs; the Interior Architect-Object Designer builds the perceptible materiality of the environment he or she can design, on-demand. The IA-OD convenes knowledge and skills and explores the cultural contexts he or she intervene on. Considerate of technical and societal transformations, continually open to dialogue, the IA-OD knows how to meet unprecedented programs and come up with new functions.
