7 Master Programs in Architecture Studies in Turkey for 2024

Calling future urban thinkers who are curious and interested in how we can revitalise post-industrial cities! This exciting and unique Master's programme wants to create an educational experience which recognizes and responds critically to issues of cities in different forms and stages of post-industrial transition and educates the next generation of specialists with the 21st century skills and knowledge needed to address the challenges and opportunities of cities in transition and superdiverse societies. It is the ideal program for professionals involved in the design, planning, management or evaluation of the city who want to join a vibrant knowledge and innovation community committed to the rethinking of more sustainable urban futures. RePIC fosters transformative modes of teaching, research, and learning - responding to the specific challenges and characteristics of post-industrial cities.

As part of the two-year study course in "Architecture_Interior Design and for Autonomy" in English, Master's Degree in class LM-4 Architecture and building engineering-architecture, the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design "Luigi Vanvitelli" (DADI ) has entered into two international agreements for the establishment of two Double Titles, one in 2015 and the other in 2016.

Urban built environment is transforming on a local and global scale due to the advances in information and building technologies. The impact of this transformation on everyday life and on the quality of space calls for continual renewal of the architectural discourse and practice.

The architectural field currently undergoes significant transformations at both theoretical and practical levels due to the development of digital technologies and the rising importance of globalization processes and sustainability issues. As a result, while the content and specialization areas of architecture change, unprecedented research areas emerge.

Our aim as Faculty of Architecture and Design educates the students to become architects who are creative, and have environmental and historical awareness, ethic and aesthetic values, besides; who can deal with the issues which contributes to the technology, fine arts, humanities-social sciences and philosophy. Our Faculty of Architecture’s and Design’s opportunities which are provided with its location, the teaching staff, accumulation of knowledge, education and research are expected to enhance the increase of the quality of built environment.

City planning is a discipline that comprises of research and production of plans, programs and projects prepared within the perspective of a national settlement and development plan with scientific efforts and realization of efforts with these aims.

The graduate program in architecture intends to develop and deepen knowledge of the students in architecture to higher levels of professional competence based on Bachelor level qualifications; to give students an understanding in scholarly research; to develop the ability to conduct and communicate studies individually and ability to enhance lifelong intellectual growth.
