Introduces the student to the bases, fundamentals and tools in the areas of direct impact on R&D and current employment such as, among others, Data Science (Data Science), Artificial Intelligence and its applications, Computational Modeling and Simulation of Engineering problems, the use and development of Intelligent and Autonomous Systems, or Data Analysis and Interpretation Methods. Additionally, due to its investigative nature, the degree provides the student with the necessary skills and tools to start in the activities of R&D in the aforementioned fields and also constitutes one of the qualifications that gives access to the PhD program in Technologies of Telecommunications and Computer Engineering. Who teaches it? PhD professors from ULPGC , researchers from the University Institute of Intelligent Systems and Numerical Applications in Engineering (IUSIANI) attached to multiple departments in the areas of engineering (Computer Science and Systems, Mathematics, Eng. Electronics and Automatics, Ing. Civil, Signals and Communications). How do I prepare it? You will learn on your own (autonomous student work) by attending academic sessions in the classroom, both theoretical and practical, seminars, supervised work, tutorials and evaluation activities.
