Advanced Cosmetic Sciences (ACS) forms chemists that can operate in cosmetic companies in the design, production, analysis and certification of cosmetic products.

This Second Cycle Degree Programme trains professionals able to grasp the emerging challenges arising from the current international regulations and aimed at the production of more effective and intrinsically safer cosmetics with reference to their entire life cycle.

ACS has an interdisciplinary spirit, aimed at providing a theoretical and practical training on the scientific and technological aspects of cosmetic products. The programme is characterized by theoretical-practical courses related to the study of natural substances and of bioactive molecules used in cosmetics, to the chemistry and to the formulation of cosmetics, to the ingredients and formulations analysis. The anatomy, physiology and pathology of the skin will also be studied, together with the microbiological, functional and toxicological control of cosmetic products.... [-]

This course allows students to acquire the necessary professional skills to know the facilities and appliances and hygiene and safety measures, learn to use different disinfection techniques, know the current regulations on professional hygiene and customer, and know how to apply techniques of tattoo.

The modality of the Master's degree is On-Line and Tutoring

This course enables the student to select and prepare equipment and technical means for the application of tattoo techniques, select and prepare products for the application of tattoo techniques, apply security measures and prevention of personal risks and means, equipment and products used, propose corrections and decorative motifs, which can be made by means of tattooing, identifying possible contraindications and indications for the preparation and care of the skin, applying the drawing techniques relating them with the technical means and the pigments used for the realization of different types of tattoo, analyze the influence and evolution of color and its relation to the composition of the pigments and the characteristics of the skin area and apply tattoo techniques adapting the technical means to the effects to be achieved and observing the hygienic-sanitary norms.... The Master’s in Professional Studies, Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing, and Management is the only program of its kind.
