Before you can graduate, you usually must write and defend a thesis, a long paper that is the culmination of your specialized research.

The goal of an environmental studies program is to prepare students to solve environmental issues. This may include working in the government to create new laws and policies, working in the legal system to fight for environmental causes or working in the field to protect natural resources.

New Zealand is a country of stunning and diverse natural beauty. Kiwi are not only one of the national symbols – the others being the silver fern leaf and koru – but also the name New Zealanders usually call themselves. Overseas students will need to pay the full tuition fees and their own living costs while studying at a New Zealand institution.
