Master Degrees in Film Studies in Argentina

The Master in Cinema of South America aims to provide interdisciplinary training, broadening and deepening the theoretical, artistic, and technological development, research, and advancement of knowledge around the processes and results of film production in the subcontinent South American. The Master in Cinema of South America includes the completion of at least one academic research project and one audiovisual production project, each of them under the supervision of a director/tutor; Both works will show the conceptual, methodological, and artistic management, in accordance with the current levels of advancement of the different disciplines included in the degree. Those who complete the Master in South American Film will access the academic title of “Master in South American Film”. -

To train documentary makers with competence in the areas of Production, Script, Direction, and Post-production of documentary films; provide a theoretical framework that supports the documentary genre; generate a space that promotes documentary production; develop an interdisciplinary vision of the making of Documentary Cinema. To take the Master's degree, it is not a requirement to have prior audiovisual knowledge. In that case, the University will offer the necessary technical training free of charge. -
