Introduction
General objective: To train teachers of high academic-scientific level with an ethical attitude and social responsibility, capable of investigating and solving aspects related to the sustainable development of tourism, with a multi and interdisciplinary approach.
Specific objectives:
To train teachers capable of conducting scientific research related to sustainable development processes related to tourism.
To train researchers with gnoseological capacity that influence the promotion of sustainable development in tourist areas.
Generate competent researchers to formulate proposals that influence the achievement of sustainable development in tourist areas.
Promote research as a contribution to the design and implementation of public policies related to sustainable development linked to tourism.
Integrate knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values as fundamental elements in the training of teachers to promote and advocate social responsibility and ethical profile in promoting initiatives.
Stimulate creativity and innovation to respond to the changing challenges of tourism in the context of the global-local relationship with a view to sustainable development.
