Our campus is home to the most sophisticated underground root growth laboratory in the southern hemisphere. We also offer five state-of-the-art laboratories and modern glasshouse facilities, working models of a range of irrigation systems, and an on-campus 1,600-hectare university farm.

Students are eligible for the Ag Institute 1st Year Graduate or Ag Institute 2nd Year Graduate membership to the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology.
Graduated students are eligible for full membership to the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology.
Graduation requirements
As a Charles Sturt University student, throughout your course you have a responsibility to continue to develop skills in English language, literacy and numeracy as appropriate to your discipline. This ongoing development will enable you to effectively participate in your course and graduate prepared to enter the workforce.
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 128 points.
Career Opportunities
This course will prepare you for a range of leadership roles in agriculture, including agricultural consultant, agricultural extension officer, or Landcare officer. You could move into advisory, policy or advocacy roles. Work in catchment management, agricultural education and training, executive management, rural counselling, agricultural consultancy, agricultural finance and natural resource management.
