Introduction

General competences of this Master's course are the acquisition and deepening of technical and scientific knowledge in the various areas of animal production.

The specific competences of the cycle of studies leading to the Master's degree in Animal Production Technologies are:

  • Acquire experimental procedure habits with applicability in the productive sector;
  • Develop research capacities in the area of Animal Production;
  • Develop a critical attitude towards the current problems of animal production;
  • Define the paths that lead to the best solutions in specific areas of animal production, directing your concerns towards some of the current problems that this sector faces, such as epidemiovigilance in animal production and the traceability of animal products;
  • Understand the importance of sustainable animal production and respect for the environment, linking the proper treatment of effluents with environmental quality;
  • Deepen the ability to solve practical problems in the area of animal production, rationalizing production factors in a sustainable way;
  • Understand and have the ability to execute and implement modern technologies associated with animal production;
  • Understand the principles associated with the design, planning and management of different animal productions using new solutions and technologies;
  • Contribute to quality and food safety certification programs.
