The Master in Product and Space Design is dedicated to research in product and space design. When creating product and space projects, the iterative design process is essential.
Product design deals with innovative and technological means that allow students to obtain benefits from other disciplines, namely ergonomics, materials, prototypes and design methods.
The space design speculates on living spaces and ephemeral spaces, with special attention to the history of design and new trends in design.
With the support of academics and professionals active in the market in the areas of design, architecture, engineering and marketing, students will have the opportunity to be part of the creation of a research space aimed at observing the market, responding to the needs of the area .

Factory
The Factory is IADE special project agency. Its main mission is to leverage IADE reputation and brand recognition. In this unit, where value and knowledge are manufactured, the relationship between students, teachers, laboratories and civil society is clearly emphasized.
The Factory's projects are essentially defined in three lines of action: parallel manufacturing (development of extracurricular projects); curriculum fabrication (projects within the academic context and in collaboration with civil society partners) and fabrication of the future (research applied to the development of projects designed and created from scratch).

Professional Opportunities
The Master aims to train professionals capable of mastering theoretical, technical and design tools suitable for working either in a design studio or as a freelancer (Design Consultant, Designer of consumer products, Technological product designer, Services designer, Designer of Interiors, Product Manager, Design and Innovation Management).
Masters in Product and Space Design will also be prepared to start a university teaching or research career.
