Qualification: Master in Clinical Neuropsychology issued by ISEP

The Master in Clinical Neuropsychology, which has 51 editions , expands the perspectives of evaluation, diagnosis and intervention within the different clinical pathologies that affect the Central Nervous System and alterations and/or deterioration of cognitive and behavioral processes. This Master covers the gap between the knowledge derived from basic neurosciences (neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, neurophysiology, neuropharmacology), the psychology of cognitive processes (attention, memory, language, gnosis), the psychology of behavior-emotion and the techniques . . . assessment and intervention that clinicians use in their daily practice.

These criteria are those that are taken as an international reference for the training of the clinical neuropsychologist. The practice of Clinical Neuropsychology requires a specific set of knowledge from various areas of knowledge of Psychology and Medicine that allow evaluating, diagnosing and intervening in the cognitive and neurobehavioral alterations observable in a patient with focal or diffuse brain dysfunction or damage. . . . . This program is approached from an eminently practical perspective , with a teaching methodology based on scientific evidence through case studies and the application of various innovative teaching strategies from a comprehensive approach.

The ISEP training program complies with the guidelines of the Houston Conference for the accreditation of psychologists who are experts in Clinical Neuropsychology . These criteria are those that are taken as an international reference for the training of the clinical neuropsychologist.
