Introduction

Renewable energy from wind, water, solar, and biomass plays an increasing role both nationally as well as internationally. If you hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, you can attain insight into the potential of renewable energy processes and energy systems of the future.

The importance of renewable energy taken from wind, water, the sun, and biomass is increasingly being understood both nationally and internationally. This master's program offers students holding a bachelor's degree in engineering insight into the potential of renewable energy systems and processes of the future. Today, biofuels are the most widely used and important sources of renewable energy in Sweden, the EU, and large parts of the wider world. However, wind and solar energy are on the rise. In this program, you will learn about what considerations to take when handling biofuels and which processes and systems should be accounted for when planning for future energy production. You will also get ideas for making our society more efficient in energy use. In addition to planning for future energy systems and processes, you will discover the principles of project management and research methods. Prepare for an international career in this quickly growing industry.

Degree

Upon successful completion of the program, the student is awarded the Master of Science (120 credits) with a specialization in Sustainable Energy Processes and Systems. The main field of Study: Bioenergy Technology
