About Molde University College
Molde University College - Specialized University in Logistics offers programs in Logistics, Economics and Business Administration, Management, Sports Sciences, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, and Social Care. The BSc programs are held in Norwegian language and not offered to international applicants seeking a degree. At the master's level, the international programs; MSc in Petroleum Logistics, MSc in Logistics and MSc in Sport Management are in English. Out of a student body of 2500, about 250 are students with foreign nationalities, representing over 60 nationalities.
Molde University College was founded on 1 August 1994, when two colleges in Molde merged together; Molde Nursing School, founded in 1958 and Molde Regional College, founded in 1969. In 2019 we will celebrate our 25th anniversary.
Organization
Molde University College is organized in accordance with laws and regulations applicable to universities and colleges in Norway.
Molde University College has shared leadership, with an elected Rector and appointed University College Director. The college's professional activities are organized in three different departments or faculty, headed by a dean who is the department's professional and administrative manager. Each department has its own departmental board and an office manager.
The administration consists of the college director's staff, library, IT-center, study office, and economy and HR office.
