The Master’s degree provides solid theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in bench-work procedures, instrumental operations, and analytical methodologies involved in data acquisition and analysis. The program imparts a thorough command of the scientific investigation process, providing graduates with the competence to work independently and to take on the organization and responsibility of projects.

A minimum three-year undergraduate degree (or equivalent) is required, with proven skills in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Biology, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics

The Academic Committee takes into consideration the final graduation mark of the first study cycle, where applicable, or alternatively the average grades as detailed in the Transcript of Records, considering that the minimum requirement for Italian entry qualifications is 90/110. Should it be not possible to directly compare the final graduation mark with the Italian grade scale, the Academic Committee shall consider the overall results in the candidate’s study curriculum

The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Italian.

You can often get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

You must take the original entry qualification documents with you when you finally go to university.

If you are admitted to the degree course, you will have to submit other documents including original and translated/legalized copies of your previous qualifications, etc. No legalized documents are required at the application stage.
