The University of the Sea (UMAR) is a public institution of higher education and scientific research of the state of Oaxaca, which has the support and recognition of the federal government. UMAR is based on the new university model of the Mixteca Technological University (UTM), also in the Oaxaca System of State Universities (SUNEO).

The educational model of UMAR takes place in safe and appropriate environments for professional training, offering services such as libraries, computer labs, other laboratories, auditoriums, cafeterias, and housing for professors, among others.

MASTER IN SCIENCES WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT

Aimed at Graduates in Biology, Agronomy, Ecology, Veterinary Medicine, Zootechnics, Forestry, or some related area. General objectives: To train human resources with analytical capacity, to develop basic and/or applied research, which generate knowledge of the frontier and contribute to solving problems related to the conventional and unconventional livestock sector, so that their professional practice impacts the society at the regional, state, national and international level.
