      Admissions

Master of Science in Engineering (Diplôme d'ingénieur)

Our Master of Science in Engineering is open to international students who hold a scientific bachelor's degree or are in the final year of their undergraduate studies.

If you are studying at a non-partner university, you can apply to our engineering program through the Institut Polytechnique de Paris Common Entrance Examination from March to early September for the following year's intake.

Based on your previous studies, our jury will decide whether you will follow a 24-month or 36-month program (you will then enter either the 1st or 2nd year of our MSc in Engineering).

      · The initial selection is based primarily on the applicant's academic background, statement of purpose, and letters of recommendation.

      · Entrance Exam: After the initial selection, shortlisted candidates will be contacted to take exams in French or English. The program covers the skills and knowledge considered necessary to succeed in a French engineering program. Read this FAQ for more information.

NB: If you are studying at a partner university, please contact your university's outgoing student coordinator. If you are enrolled in a scientific preparatory class (CGPE) abroad, you can take the competitive entrance exam for the Mines-Ponts engineering schools before mid-January and find out more from your teachers.

      Post-Masters Degrees

Applicants must hold a degree equivalent to five years of higher education: an MSc or MBA in engineering, computer science or applied mathematics. You may also hold a bachelor's degree (4 years of study) and have at least 3 years of professional experience. Apply directly online.
