Located in Yverdon-les-Bains, the School of Management and Engineering Vaud (HEIG-VD - Haute Ecole d'Ingénierie et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud) offers ten Bachelor programs in engineering and business management. With its 1,600 Bachelor students, it is the largest partner in the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (Haute École Spécialisée de Suisse Occidentale, or HES-SO). HEIG-VD occupies an urban campus with three buildings in Yverdon-les-Bains, at Route de Cheseaux, Centre St-Roch and Centre Y-Park.

School Of Business And Engineering Vaud HEIG-VD

The five engineering sites of the HES-SO, including the HEIG-VD, jointly offer an MS. In Engineering (HES-SO//MSE) and work closely with six other Swiss public specialized universities. The HES-SO M.S. in Engineering program is intended for the top graduates from the HSE BS program in Engineering. Established in 2009, the program offers two majors: Industrial Technologies Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Judging by the number of applicants, this program has been highly successful. It is open to both full-time and part-time students. The HES-SO M.S. in Engineering develops technical, scientific, methodological, and entrepreneurial skills. Graduates are ready to take on leadership positions in their companies, such as project managers.

The HES-SO M.S. in Integrated Innovation for Product and Business is an interdisciplinary program that is unique in Switzerland. It brings together students in the fields of Economics & Services, Engineering & Architecture, and Design & Visual Arts. Working on a practical project for an actual small business, scientific lab, or start-up, students acquire the multi-disciplinary skills needed to develop and promote innovative products and services. This M.S. program represents 90 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) and lasts 3 semesters full-time. Classes are given in French and English. M.S. in Integrated Innovation for Product and Business

The HES-SO M.S. In Spatial Planning trains engineers to serve as senior managers in businesses and public administrations in fields such as: Civil Engineering Geomatics Operational Urban Planning The program also provides the theoretical background needed for admission to the Swiss federal Surveyor’s examination.
